FAQs

How to store your macarons?

Macarons should be refrigerated and consumed within 5-7 days, or they can be frozen upon arrival for up to two-months. If stored in a refrigerator, please allow approximately 15 minutes to reach room temperature for better taste. If stored in the freezer, allow 30 minutes before consuming them.

Can I freeze the macarons?

Yes. Our macarons can be frozen for up to two-months in an airtight container. If kept in our boxes, we recommend wrapping them in plastic wrap to prevent too much moisture inside the box. If stored in the freezer, please allow approximately 30 minutes to reach room temperature before serving them.

My macaron has a hard texture, is it stale?

After filling the macarons, we mature them in the fridge for 24-36 hours (depending on the filling). This process will create the perfect texture. Crunchy on the outside and a little chewy inside. When a macaron is not matured long enough, it will be hard on the inside. If this happens to you, please put it back in the fridge for one more day to absorb more moisture or let us know and we’ll gladly replace it for you. Keep in mind that we bake thousands of macarons per day, and there could be one macaron in a full batch that will need a bit more time to mature.

What’s the average size of our macarons?

The size of our macarons is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter per piece.

Can Quelque Chose customize my macarons?

Yes, we can customize colours, flavours, and create stencils to apply personalized designs on our macarons. Please send us an email at info@macaronscanada.com with all the details for more information.
